Transitions are a continual part of our lives all the time. In every inhale and exhale, in the continual flow of our circulating blood with each heartbeat, in our daily process of nourishing ourselves, digesting and eliminating. Transitioning is also a part of all stages of life and of how we are in relation to ourselves with what is ending, what is disassembling to create new form, and with what is emerging in us.

Through somatic practices from the Feldenkrais Method and BodyMindCentering we will explore the evolutionary transition from living in water to living on land as well as the personal transition from living in the womb to living in the world of breathing and gravity, and how this interplay of water and land lives within each of us in profoundly personal ways.

Open to all somatic practitioners. For details or registration email sonja@learninginaction.org
